Coach Jackie has been around the game of basketball her whole life. Since she was a little girl, she has been in a gym watching her sisters play basketball or her mother coach girls’ basketball. She started playing organized team basketball at the age of 10, both for her school and for AAU travel teams and she continued to play until college.

Jackie was a 3 year varsity basketball player at St. Mary’s high school. Her senior year, she was team captain and named unanimous 2^nd team all-league. She was recruited by and played basketball for Stockton University before suffering an injury that kept her off the court. She finished her college education at Kean University with a degree in Psychology.

Jackie began coaching girls’ basketball after high school. She has coached girls of all ages, many of who went on to play high school or college basketball. When coaching, Jackie likes to focus on making athletes fundamentally sound to enhance their chances of success as the competition gets more difficult. She works on teaching values on the basketball court that will translate to everyday life decisions.
