Athletic Assessment

Purposes of an Athletic Assessment is to determine the level of fitness of each of you’re athletes. With limited training environments, players must have the discipline and determination to train on their own and to improve on their weaknesses.

STACK Sports Performance Athletic Assessment will be evaluating each athletes athletic abilities. The following assessments will be ran by all athletes:  Pro Agility (5-10-5) which measures a players lateral quickness,
the Hexagon Agility test which measures lateral movement, 1 minute sit-up which measures the strength and endurance of abdominal muscles as well as hip flexors, 1RM to quantify the level of strength, and 20 -yard sprint which measures the speed of explosion. All Basketball athletes will do 3 NBA Draft Assessments, the Standing Vertical Jump (No Step), Max. Vertical Jump, and 3/4 Court Sprint.

The results to these athletic assessments will help the Performance Coaches and basketball Coaches help improve each athletes weaknesses and continue growing their strengths.

This Athletic Assessment allows one of our STACK Performance Coaches to perform an in-depth evaluation of your current physical capabilities. The program will include an evaluation of your current fitness level, as well as identify any deficiencies or asymmetries.  Our highly trained Coaches will assess the following:

  • Flexibility – Passive and Active ROM from head to toe
  • Power – Vertical jump, seated chest pass, sit up and throw
  • Strength – Squat 5rm, bench 5rm, Pull up/chin ups, Plank
  • Linear Speed – 40 yard dash
  • Change Direction – Pro Agility (5-10-5)
  • Endurance – 300 yard shuttle

Our STACK Performance Coaches will also perform a battery of additional Functional Tests, including:

  • Overhead Deep Squat
  • Single Leg Balance
  • Bridge with Leg Extension

This Assessment serves as a key component in building an
Individualized Fitness Program, as well as a benchmark to be utilized 
later to measure the progress you’ve made while training with us!
